Lyndsey Ballantyne

Lyndsey joined the SSI in March 2023 as the RSE Community Manager and is based in The Southampton Research Software Group at the University of Southampton.
She was previously a Projects and Events Administrator at the University of Edinburgh where she organised a large portfolio of events while also managing a Centre for Doctoral Training programme.
Lyndsey predominantly works with and supports the Hidden REF campaign and community, which aims to recognise all research outputs and every role that makes research possible, and the Society of Research Software Engineering, which mission is to establish a research environment that recognises the vital role of software in research.
