MicrosoftResearch.jpgThe Computational Science Laboratory at Microsoft Research Cambridge is tackling fundamental problems in science in areas of societal importance, by bringing together new kinds of scientists, in a new kind of Laboratory, pioneering new kinds of approaches, new kinds of computational methods, and new kinds of scientific software tools.

Deadline for application is 1 December 2012, review of applications will begin immediately.

The lab now requires additional professional software developers to implement the development of computational ecology and environmental sciences software tools. The tools will run primarily on desktop computers and in the cloud. Developers will create program code and tests. They will also be involved in building user interfaces and writing user documentation.
