The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is looking for new members to join their Pool of Experts and Follow-on Fund Committee to support the assessment of research proposals submitted to the Responsive Mode and Follow-on Fund funding calls. 

Peer review is a vital part of the decision-making process supporting BBSRC's bioscience investment. Members of the assessment research committees and the Pool of Experts provide expert knowledge and insight to ensure that investment is allocated to important and high-quality research, innovation and training in the biosciences. Through this role, members also gain insight into the future direction of bioscience research and innovation.

A webinar will be held Tuesday, 18 April at 2 pm for all potential applicants to join and find out more about the roles, learn more about the BBSRC Pool of Experts and Follow-on Fund Committee, and hear from a panel of experienced members, who will be sharing their experience in a facilitated panel discussion.
