Applications are open for the third round of Open Life Science (OLS-3) mentoring and training program, run by Fellows Malvika Sharan and Yo Yehudi.
OLS is a 16-week mentoring and training program that upskills individuals in open and reproducible research and empowers them to become open science ambassadors in their communities. After successfully concluding two cohorts in 2020 with 50 projects and 80 project leads, applications are now open for the next cohort which will take place from February to May 2021. The deadline for application is 11 January 2021. Visit https://openlifesci.org for details.
This program will provide a unique opportunity to individuals and teams to integrate best practices for open and reproducible research in new or ongoing projects. Microgrants will also be offered to participants to ensure that they can equitably participate in the program. You are welcome to attend the graduation calls on 15 - 17 December to find more about projects from the previous round and join their Q&A webinar on 4 January 2021 to ask specific questions you may have.
