Olivier Philippe

Olivier holds a MSc in Psychology and in Sociology from the University of Liege, Belgium, as well as a MSc in Web Science from the University of Southampton. Olivier joined the Software Sustainability Institute in June 2015 as a part-time R developer before his appointment as a full-time Policy researcher.

Olivier is responsible for the technical aspects of the policy research team. He provides technical support in the collection and analysis of data that helps to understand the Research Software Engineer community. His work consists of building surveys at national and international levels. He also develops appropriate tools in Python to assist data collection projects within the Institute.
