Research Software Camp: introducing the members of the panel discussion
The publication of the FAIR Research Software Principles in 2022 as a parallel effort to the FAIR Data Principles marks the supported vision where valuable scientific outputs are made ‘FAIR’ by becoming more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.
The Research Software Camp: FAIR Software will feature a panel discussion on FAIR Software which aims to discuss the state of FAIR Software, its intersections with the FAIR Data principles and what’s coming in the next few years.
In this engaging panel, leading experts from academia and research communities will delve into the critical aspects of FAIR research software. They will discuss the challenges, opportunities, and implications associated with applying FAIR data principles to research software, sharing valuable insights and experiences from their respective domains.
Maria Cruz, Senior Policy Advisor at NWO (Dutch Research Council), will chair this panel.
Joining her in the discussion are:
- Rena Bakhshi, Programme Manager for the Natural Sciences and Engineering domain at the Netherlands e-Science Centre.
- Leyla Jael Castro, Team Leader Semantic Technologies at ZB Med.
- Tom Honeyman, Software Programme Manager, Australian Research Data Commons.
- Fotis E. Psomopoulos, Researcher at the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).
