Many institutions round the UK have recognised the value of the Carpentry programmes and started getting involved by training their people as certified Carpentry instructors and running workshops independently. One of the first was UCL, which have started delivering workshops at the same time as the Institute. Many of these institutions have since set up their individual partnerships with The Carpentries.
