The N8 Centre of Excellence for Computationally Intensive Research (N8 CIR) has been gathering training expertise and requirements from research communities across the N8 universities. They are now investigating ways of meeting the growing demand that has been identified for courses that teach computational and data skills to researchers.

Together with the N8 CIR we are surveying people within N8 institutions who have been or would like to become involved in delivering training for researchers (such as Software, Data, Library and HPC Carpentry and similar courses), with an aim of identifying where the expertise exists as well as key barriers to delivering these courses.

The survey is open until 28 August: bit.ly/32SwJzB. If you have any queries regarding the survey please get in touch with Gillian Sinclair
