SAGE Ocean is seeking a fellow to join its team for a six-week part-time placement. In this role, you will support the team in developing a prototype for cleaning and preparing large scale political corpora for text mining, and understanding the challenges facing political scientists who want to do text mining.

If you have a love for text mining and a strong understanding of political texts, plus a bit of experience or knowledge about academic research and want to learn more about product testing and development, then this fellowship is for you!

Applications are open to PhD and Masters students. You can work remotely, but you won’t escape having fun with the team over video-conferences. This role is pretty much perfect if you are in lockdown (unfortunately) and have some spare time.
