The survey of digital methods and software in the social sciences closed on 6th March 2022 and we received over 165 responses - thank you to everyone who took part.

We have run a random prize draw to choose five winners of £30 Love2shop vouchers, the winners have been contacted with details.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit their responses and our survey reviewers Nick Bearman, Caitlin Bentley, Chris Jochem, Nathan Khadaroo and Andrew Stewart.

Last October, The Economics and Social Sciences Research Council (ESRC) awarded the Software Sustainability Institute funding to conduct a study that improves the understanding of software and data use in projects within the social sciences research areas.

We have been conducting interviews throughout March. The data from the survey and interviews will be analysed and collated into a report that will be submitted to the ESRC. The report will also be made available to the public.
