New Code for Thought episode: Mentoring Research Software Engineers

Posted by d.barclay on 21 February 2023 - 1:00pm

The latest Code For Thought episode discusses the mentoring scheme launched by the Society for Research Software Engineering in the UK in 2021. In the first part of the episode, Peter Schmidt speaks with the organisers of the scheme, Ania Brown and Sam Mangham, about how this project came about. Then he meets with Mark Turner (Newcastle University, UK) and James Graham (King's College, London, UK), who signed up for the pilot project as mentor and mentee, to find out how it all went for them.
