Register for a free workshop on empowering communities with open principles as part of our upcoming Research Software Camp: Next Steps in Coding.

Science and research is most impactful when shared, enabling access to information, re-use of technology, and advancement of knowledge. Researchers and coders may begin by creating research software and code for themselves, and later wish to share their code so others can re-use it, and co-design a vision with a broader research community.

This session delivered by the Open Life Science team will provide a taster session for people who are interested in community building and creating an open sharing research culture in their research software, covering the initial steps to create contribution pathways for new and existing community members.

The session will be delivered online on Monday 23 May from 09:00 – 12:00 BST.

Register for empowering communities with open principles.

The Research Software Camp: Next Steps in Coding will run from 16- 27 May with a focus on improving computational and training skills at beginner and intermediate levels. Find out about the other workshops and sessions taking place during the Camp.
