That Picture! - CW15 software word cloud and dataset now available for your use
The Institute's Collaborations Workshop 2015 (CW15) was characterised in many ways, one of the ways was the word cloud that was used as our backdrop for the sessions.
So how was the word cloud produced? well at registration time we asked What three pieces of software do you use most often in your job?, the word cloud pictured was produced as a result (nearly 100 people registered).
The word cloud is now available for you to use in your own presentations and is suitably licensed as CC-BY-NC.
In addition the question, raw data and cleaned/processed data is now available for you to use and do your own analysis and (the cleaned data is ready to paste in wordle.net if you want to produce your own word cloud). This modest data set is licensed as CC-BY so you have the freedom to tinker.
If you do anything new with the dataset (e.g. perhaps you want to explore the implications of the responses rather than taking them at face value) we would love to hear from you, please let us know via @SoftwareSaved on Twitter or you can email us as info@software.ac.uk
Have fun!
