To read about what the course is like, check out Philip Fowler’s excellent summary of the Oxford course (Philip is a Fellow of the Institute).
The program includes a variety of hands-on labs covering Linux (and Windows) virtual machines, websites, IPython notebooks, scaling-out R and Matlab computations, cloud storage, visualisation, big data and stream processing. Your laptop does not need to have a Windows operating system installed – Microsoft Azure is accessed via an Internet browser and fully supports Linux, Mac and Windows users.
We hope to see some of you in Amsterdam, which is very easy to get to from most anywhere in Europe.
