Want to migrate your software from NeSCForge? We can help.

NeSCForge.pngAfter 20 December 2010, it will not be possible to use NeSCForge to run your software project. If you are interested in migrating your software to another repository, the Software Sustainability Institute has prepared a number of guides to help. The guides are available on our guides web page.

NeSCForge was set up as a software repository for the UK e-Science community. This year, it was announced that NeSCForge would close due to a lack of funds. The shut down will take place on Monday 20th December 2010.

Jason Lander from the NGS has used our guides to migrate NGS software from NeSCForge. Read about his experience on the NGS blog.
