Jack Williams is a Senior Researcher at Microsoft working as part of the Calc Intelligence team. Jack’s research focuses on infusing spreadsheets with programming language technology, including topics such as units of measure, logic reuse, and bidirectional editing. Most recently, Jack has been building new experiences for LAMBDA formulas.

Before joining Microsoft, Jack was a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh working on contract semantics and gradual typing.
