We evaluate the SURegen online regeneration toolkit

At our Collaborations Workshop back in March, I spoke to Steve Curwell of the University of Salford. Steve is principal investigator of SURegen, an EPSRC-funded project, which is developing an online urban regeneration workbench. The SURegen workbench has been developed to support regeneration teams in collaborative decision making. It is also designed to help those new to regeneration acquire and develop skills by providing information on best practice illustrated by case studies.

SURegen's target users include politicians, regeneration staff in Local Authorities, planners, architects, urban regeneration companies, regeneration consultants, and engineers. Steve was interested in the usability of SURegen, so during the summer I undertook a usability evaluation. For more information, read the usability report.
